Jose Gonzalez

Vice President, Culinary

Jose brings over 15 years of experience in the Culinary Arts / Hospitality industry. He began his journey in the culinary arts field from his competitive uprising in playing sports. He entered a few cooking competitions held regionally and internationally, which earned him a handful of scholarships to Culinary School. He went on to earning his degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management and Certification in Baking & Pastry. 


Immediately he began working the field, which his background consisting of restaurants, healthcare, university dining, operating his own business and assisted living. Assisted living has allowed him to create unique dining programs that captures a modern approach to Senior Dining, while emphasizing on wholesome, nutritious meals. 


Most recently Jose was the Regional Director of Culinary Experience-West for Cadence Senior Living, now Cogir USA. Supporting the entire portfolio in the western region from Seattle, California, Colorado and Arizona. 


Jose resides in Southern California with his wife and newborn daughter. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, weight training and occasionally, taking a ride on his motorcycle.
