Sean Downey

Sean has over 10 years of experience in real estate and healthcare from working in finance, accounting, and asset management. Earning his degree in finance from the University of San Diego, Sean soon began his career in the public sphere at the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) on their portfolio management team. 

After SDHC, Sean worked for Pacifica Companies, one of the largest privately held real estate groups in California. After gaining experience, he oversaw the financial team for the senior housing division for over 7 years. The senior housing division, called Pacifica Senior Living, grew from 40 communities to over 100 communities by the time of his departure. Sean was responsible for all aspects of the financial management from accounting, mergers & acquisitions, budgeting, lending, reporting, analytics, payroll, asset management and managed a large team of over forty people.

Sean received the opportunity to join Savant Senior Living in 2022 as their Chief Financial Officer to work with Adam and Mochi to help them grow their senior housing portfolio. 

In his personal time, Sean enjoys staying active and has completed several marathons and running events.
